The Scottish Asian & Business Awards – presented by Asian CNCT and Saffron Events UK and organised by Oceanic Awards – have celebrated the achievements of Scottish Asian businesses and professionals. The awards recognise individuals whose dedication, innovation and leadership continue to drive meaningful impact across Scotland’s economy and wider society.

Each year, the awards spotlight the strength and progression of the Asian community across Scotland, recognising contributions spanning business, community leadership, food, law, finance and more. They celebrate not only commercial success, but also the cultural and economic influence Scottish Asian professionals have delivered over the past year.

The 2025 ceremony, held on 17 December at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow, brought together leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers from across the country to celebrate excellence and achievement.

The “Scots of the Year” honour recognises the joint leadership, global vision and long-term commitment Poonam and Puneet continue to demonstrate through PG Paper’s growth as an international paper and packaging trading business. Over the past 22 years, PG Paper has expanded its global footprint, strengthened international partnerships and remained focused on sustainable, purpose-led growth.

This recognition reflects not only business success, but also a broader commitment to inspiring future generations, championing diversity and positioning Scotland as a strong, connected player in global trade.
