Built on the values of sustainability, community and integrity, PG Paper is one of Scotland’s largest trading companies. With an expert in-house team and a presence in over 60 countries, the company provides a holistic, integrated service – partnering with international mills to create markets and enable trade across the globe. Its success has been recognised by some of the most respected names in business, including Ernst & Young, The Herald, Scottish Export Awards, Scottish BQ Awards, Scottish Asian Business Awards, BDO British Indian Awards, FSB Awards and the DBT Made in the UK – Sold to the World Awards, among others.

In the 2023 New Year Honours List, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for Services to Business, Charity and the Community. In 2025, he and Poonam were named Scots of the Year at the 18th Scottish Asian Business Awards – an honour recognising those whose leadership and innovation drive meaningful impact across Scotland’s economy and society. He was also presented with the Special Award for Business Leadership at the 20th Asian Achievers Awards, celebrating his continuous drive and vision on a national stage.

His experience spans both public and private sectors – from hospital management and pharmaceutical consultancy to building a diverse entrepreneurial portfolio across property, healthcare, hospitality and leisure. He also holds an active investment portfolio with a focus on early-stage ventures in ed-tech, fin-tech and med-tech.

A committed advocate for India-UK relations, Puneet was honoured to join the Prime Minister on the 2025 trade mission to India – the largest ever government trade mission to the country, following the landmark UK–India trade deal.
